The incumbent will assist in the analysis of specific organizational and procedural problems and in the design or modification of computer programs to implement computer applications; test and debug new programs to verify their accuracy and completeness.

Responsibilities:

- Reviews, analyzes and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the organization’s application systems.
- Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives.
- Writes and revises program and system specifications to create directions for development and modifications of program code.
- Prepares charts, diagrams, correspondence and technical documents to support clients in understanding the data and work flows, procedures, process, scope and objectives.
- Assists clients with questions and problems on assigned systems to enable clients to obtain accurate and complete information and understand how to use the system.
- Performs routine systems maintenance tasks, including software, monitoring, system recovery and performance tuning.

- Has knowledge of commonly use concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field.
- Ability to work well under high stress conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines.
- Ability to work well under immediate supervision.
- Ability to work in a changing environment.
- Flexibility in accepting assignments, including on call and overtime activities.

Qualifications:

Required

- Two to Three years of applicable experience.
- Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalency.

Qualifications (Preferred):

Preferred

- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related field.
