This position combines technical system administration with project leadership. The incumbent will integrate and support complex systems which provide core services to the organization and support our business systems. The person in this position will manage and administer servers, software and databases for a variety of applications including packaged applications and custom developed databases and applications.

Responsibilities:

- Installs, upgrades and manages server services and application software.
- Provides high level troubleshooting support for server services and application software.
- Proactively monitors and resolves problems with server services and applications.
- Support all aspects of web and server-based application server.
- Installs, upgrades, configures patch and support departmental applications.
- Evaluates and manages web server and server application outages.
- Creates and modifies databases as needed. Installs and tests scripts and systems.
- Advises and consults on programming problems.
- Conceptualized, designs and program complex systems and applications to enhance business processes.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

- Knowledge of Symantec Workflow
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2003, 2008 and 2012 operating system including patching
- Ability to write advanced SQL queries
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory including ability to maintain:
- AD structure, user accounts, groups, associations, child domains
- Domain controllers, OU, system level accounts, group policies
- ACLs, manage AD DNS
- Trouble shoot connectivity issues
- Create and maintain locally developed applications

- Experience and knowledge of LDAP
- Working knowledge of:
- .Net
- Visual Basic
- Powershell scripting a plus

Qualifications:

Required

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Five to Seven years of equivalent experience.
