We are seeking an eLearning developer/technical writer to work as part of a high-energy team to deploy web-based, multi-media training and assist in the development of online help content. This position combines creativity and critical thinking, technical expertise. The individual is responsible for developing web-based training modules which instructs and educates people across the organization and for our customers. This individual will participate in the design, creation, and implementation of all training created by the IT Training Department.
Responsibilities:
- Designs and builds training solutions which use instructional methods that best suit the content.
- Implements, and instructs web-based, multi-media trainings.
- Develops curriculum, course material and assessment techniques that meets the learning objectives and the audience.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Proficient with Captivate, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Audition, Adobe Illustrator, Video editing/publishing software, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with an LMS
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined above.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under aggressive time frames.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
- Demonstrated ability to be organized and detailed oriented.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment to meet production deadlines.
- Demonstrated presentation skills.
- Ability to quickly understand and assimilate new technologies.
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Five years of technical courseware development and related business experience.
Qualifications (Preferred):
- Experience in the networking security industry.
