The incumbent will assist in the analysis of specific organizational and procedure problems and in the design or modification of programs and applications; test and debug programs and applications to verify their accuracy and completeness.

Responsibilities:
- Reviews, analyzes and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the organization’s application systems.
- Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives.
- Writes and revises program and system specifications to create directions for development and modifications of programming.
- Prepares charts, diagrams, correspondence and technical documents to support clients in understanding the data and work flows, procedures, process, scope and objectives.
- Assists clients with questions and problems on assigned systems to enable clients to obtain accurate and complete information and understand how to use the system.
- Performs routine systems maintenance tasks, including software, monitoring, system recovery and performance tuning.
- Performs audits of pharmacy related systems and participated in the correction of identified problems.
- Identifies and corrects billing errors in the pharmacy and billing systems.
- Performs all duties of a Licensed Pharmacy Technician as assigned.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Has knowledge of commonly use concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field.
- Ability to work well under high stress conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines.
- Ability to work well under immediate supervision.
- Ability to work in a changing environment.
- Flexibility in accepting assignments, including on call and overtime activities.

Qualifications:
- Two to Three years of applicable experience in the field
- Pharmacy technician experience (preferred).
- Associate's Degree or Equivalent.

Licenses Required
- Current Pharmacy Technician licensure in the State of Utah.

- Additional license requirements as determined by the hiring department.
